Painting With Cars

Supplies:
  • canvas
  • acrylic paint in various colors
  • toy cars
  • paint brush
Directions:

1. We started with a plain white canvas and I painted the entire thing before we began the project. I let it dry for about an hour/hour and a half(it dries really fast).

2. Squirt some paint on the canvas and let your toddler drive his cars over the paint.

The Finished Project:

Elijah had a blast doing these so we will DEFINITELY be doing it again!!!

*The paint washed off the wheels of the cars VERY easily!*

Monthly Pictures

Every month I took a picture of Elijah. For his first year we used the Boppy pillow and for the second year we used his Mickey Mouse chair. It is pretty cool to look through and see the differences in him each month!

*all photo editing was done on picmonkey.com

Clark Kent Costume

PRESS PASS
I googled "Clark Kent Press Pass". I saved my favorite one to my computer. Then I took a picture of my son wearing the suit and glasses that he would be wearing for the costume. I used Picmonkey.com to place my son's picture over the picture of Clark Kent. I bought laminating stuff at Walmart ($5) and used a clip from an old name tag that I had.

I bought the glasses from Amazon.com ($5). The Superman tee shirt (with cape) was from Old Navy ($10). And the suit was from Burlington Coat Factory ($15).

For the newspaper I did it the same way I did the Press pass!
