Pirate Chocolate Pops

SUPPLIES:

-Pirate Flag Mold (bought for under $3 on Amazon.com)
-Candy Melts (Black & White) - (Bought from Michaels)
-4 1/2 inch Lollipop Sticks (Bought from Hobby Lobby)
-Small Paint Brush

DIRECTIONS:

1. Melt a few white candy melts. Start by using the white paint brush to fill in the skull and cross bones.

2. Next Melt the black candy melts and add the chocolate and the lollipop stick to the mold. Make sure the lollipop stick is completely covered!

3. I let mine sit in the fridge for about an hour to set before I removed them and did another batch.

*They were a huge hit and tasted great! The mold is VERY easy to clean in between batches!

Cookie Dough Truffles


INGREDIENTS:
 1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/4 Cups Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
White, Dark, or Milk Chocolate for coating.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix ingredients in bowl.

2. Place dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle.

3. Form dough into balls about 1 inch big. Arrange on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Place cookie dough balls in the freezer for 15 minutes.

4. Melt chocolate and coat entire cookie dough ball.

Grilled Cheese Pizza

Ingredients:
Sandwich Bread (we use whole wheat)
Sliced Cheese (really any kind you want will work.)
Pepperoni
Butter
Pizza Sauce

Directions:
1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
2. Place bread (butter side down), cheese, pepperoni, second piece of bread (butter side up) in frying pan.
3. Flip after first side is nice and toasted.
4. Take out of frying pan after 2nd side is nice and toasted and cheese is melted.
5. Serve with a side of pizza sauce for dipping!!

PB & J "Sushi"

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly


Directions:

  1. Use rolling pin to roll out each slice of bread.
  2. Spread Peanut butter onto each slice.
  3. Spread Jelly onto each slice.
  4. Roll each slice into a log.
  5. Slice each log into four pieces.

Sand Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package Vanilla Wafers
  • 2 Oreos
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 C Butter
  • 2/3 C Powdered Sugar
  • 2 3/4 C Milk
  • 12 oz Cool Whip
  • 2 Packages (small) French Vanilla Pudding Mix


Directions:

  1. Add Wafers & Oreos to Food processor or blender. Blend until you have the consistency of sand.
  2. Mix cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar in a small bowl.
  3. Mix milk and pudding mix in a larger bowl.
  4. Add the Cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture.
  5. Fold in all of the cool whip.
  6. Layer into a bucket...Sand, Pudding, Sand, Pudding...etc.

*Chill at least one hour before serving.

Candy Filled Bottles

Supplies: 

  • Candy/Snacks (6 different types) 
  • 6 Pack of IBC Cream Soda 
  • Card Stock Paper
  • Spray Paint (water base)
  • Cricut Machine or Scissors

Directions:

  1. Empty, Rinse out, and dry the soda bottles.
  2. Spray paint the cardboard container.
  3. Use the card stock to decorate it with shapes, words, etc.
  4. Fill each bottle with a different candy or snack

{Optional}Make a label for each bottle and write the name of the treat that is inside.
  *Elijah had a blast filling each bottle with the candy!
*Ideas for candy...M&M's (all flavors), Goldfish, Pistachios, Peanuts, Jellybeans, Sunflower Seeds.

Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees

Supplies:

  • ice cream cones
  • green frosting
  • various candies for decorating

Directions:
  1. Cover each cone with green frosting.
  2. Decorate with the candy.




For our "candies" we used M&M's, Cherrios, and Goldfish (the stars are from the "space" goldfish).
